In 2024 photojournalist Kiana Hayeri and researcher Mélissa Cornet travelled through seven provinces of Afghanistan and listened to more than a hundred women and girls living under Taliban rule. A hardcover in a three-panel box: 162 photographs, drawings, archive material and seven fold-outs from that journey.

A photobook made inside Herat Women's Prison in Afghanistan, where women who fled violent marriages found a strange kind of freedom. Three chapters with almost no text, a separate booklet, and a middle chapter sealed in a box that you tear open yourself.
